I used this program a few times long ago, and didn't really like it much until recently, when I learned it had evolved into a useful program. Now, it is the tool to have to evaluate and compare gear. Develop a specific shopping list with Rawr and you'll never had to look at another piece of loot and wonder if it's the right upgrade or not. Rawr bases its recommendations on your class, talent spec, and current gear. You can even include raid buffs to get a better idea of how each suggested item will affect your efficiency in a raid. You can download the latest version of Rawr at http://www.codeplex.com/Rawr or you can learn more about it in our Members forum.
Redemption is now recruiting all classes for membership
Redemption is pleased to announce that we are now
recruiting all classes level 20 and up for membership in the guild. We
encourage you to read our Guild Policy , register for an account, and submit
an application for consideration (under level 80 does not need to apply, simply contact an officer ingame for an invitation). Our membership requirements are further down this page. If you have any further questions about Redemption, feel free to
contact Ivisi through an ingame tell, or use the
Contact Us option at the top of this website to reach us offline.
Redemption Continues to GROW!
We are very excited to see so many new faces in the guild. Redemption's officers have heard some very nice things from some of our newer guildies and we just want to thank all of our members, new and vet, for the incredible success of Redemption! In an effort to better acquaint the newer people to our guild, I'm posting links to some important forum threads. Please read these posts, and contribute where asked, to be sure that you are in sync with the rest of the guild.
Mission Statement - This describes what our guild is all about. Please read, if you haven't.
Raiding Policies - This forum post is accessible to members only, and should be read and understood by anyone wishing to raid.
Declaring Your Main Spec - This forum post is accessible to members only, and it is REQUIRED that all those wishing to raid sign up on this post. If you want to raid in Redemption, you must sign up in the thread linked here.
The Blood Princes are ludicrous. Oh my God, I'm so mad!!!
I'm in tears watching this, so I thought you all should join me. Enjoy!!!
Redemption welcomes all Alliance players, regardless of class, spec, or
preferred playstyle, however we do have some minimal guidelines that
need to be met before an applicant can become a new recruit. Please
read them below.
All new applicants must be 18 or older.
All new applicants must register on the Redemption website (the one you are on now).
At least one of the applicant's characters they wish to join with
Redemption must be level 20. This character will be identified as their
primary until the alt that they prefer as their primary is level 20 or
higher.
That's it. No first-born, no signature in blood. Note that until a new
member has a character level 40 or above, they will not have direct
bank priveleges, but may still acquire bank items by asking an officer
for them.
PvP Recruitment
Redemption has some members that do PvP, in battlegrounds and arenas.
As we grow, and teams are formed in the guild, we will be setting a
night up for doing arena, however BGs and world-PvP can happen at
anytime. Note that Redemption is not a PvP guild (we don't all run
around flagged 24/7), but we do encourage and stand behind our members
who do like PvP.
Raiding Recruitment
For those applicants that are level 75-80 and are wanting to join us in
raiding Onyxia and TOC, the requirements go a little deeper, but we
still try to keep them simple.
Redemption raids weekly. We run 10 mans in TOC and Onyxia, and will begin running ICC 10 in March of 2010.
Those applicants looking for a hard-core raiding guild to do 25-mans
should look elsewhere. Redemption isn't the guild you are looking for.
Gear is not a requirement to join Redemption. If your gear is not
raid-ready, we can assist members with group quests, heroic instance
runs, and crafting. However, the member will be responsible for
obtaining mats, completing pre-req quests, etc.
Raids may be scheduled for any night between Sunday and Thursday, starting at 8:00 p.m. server time and running at least two hours. If an
applicant wishes to raid, having most of these nights free will help
assure your chances of getting into the raid.
Most of our guild runs are casual-based raid runs, with a liberal looting system and flexable attendance requirements. We are, however, starting a progression-oriented group that will maintain a hardcore-like attendance requirement and will follow a progression-based looting system for those interested in learning new fights and clearing content more than simply gathering as much gear as fast as they can.
Other raiding guidelines are listed in the member's section, but aren't important to the recruitment process.
